A senior strategist who stays
The strategist who reviews your site at the start stays on your account while the work runs, so you never have to re-explain your business to someone new.
Anyone can put kind words on a website, so we hold ours to rules you can check. This page covers how we publish client testimonials, what we commit to on every account and what you can ask to see before you hire us.

Client reviews
Each one appears with the client’s permission, exactly as they approved it.
We had worked with two agencies before and both delivered the same thing: a monthly PDF full of charts that never translated into patients. Web Smart Rankings started by telling us which of our pages were actively working against us, which was uncomfortable but correct. Within seven months we moved from page four to the top three for all five of our money keywords. Organic enquiries now outpace our entire paid budget, and the cost per enquiry has dropped by about 70%.
Our site looked fine but nobody stayed on it. They rebuilt it and fixed the technical debt three previous developers had ignored — PageSpeed went from 31 to 97 and our bounce rate halved almost overnight. Conversions nearly doubled without us spending another rupee on ads. What I appreciated most was that they showed me the problems on a recorded video walkthrough before I had signed anything.
We run four clinics and were losing patients to a chain that simply showed up higher on Maps. The local SEO work put all four locations in the map pack within about three months. Walk-ins are up 60% and the review system they set up means we now collect genuine reviews automatically instead of awkwardly asking at the front desk. The response management alone has been worth the retainer.
As a technical founder I am hard to impress and quick to spot fluff. Their audit was the most rigorous I have seen — log file analysis, crawl budget maths, actual reasoning rather than tool output pasted into a template. Eleven months in, organic is our largest acquisition channel and our blended CAC has fallen by 44%. They also push back when I suggest something stupid, which I value more than agreeableness.
Reputation was our problem. A former client had written something damaging that sat second for our firm name and we were visibly losing consultations over it. They handled the suppression work with real discretion and within four months it had dropped to page three. They also built us a proper content presence, which now brings in cases directly. Careful, ethical, no shortcuts.
Industrial B2B is not a glamorous sector and most agencies did not understand our buyers at all. This team took the trouble to learn the product. They built a technical content library around the specifications our customers actually search for. We now get international enquiries from three countries we had never sold into, which has genuinely changed our business plan.
They rebuilt our WooCommerce store from scratch after two years of a bloated theme. Page load went from eleven seconds to under two, and the checkout abandonment rate dropped by a third. Revenue is up 140% year on year. Every promise they made about timelines, they kept — which after our last developer felt almost surprising.
Real estate search is brutally competitive and I expected the usual optimistic promises. Instead they gave me a realistic nine-month forecast and then beat it by two months. The custom CRM they built alongside means our agents finally have every lead in one place. Site visit bookings are up 190%.
Admissions enquiries used to be entirely word of mouth and completely unpredictable. The local SEO and content work gave us a steady pipeline for the first time — we filled our intake six weeks earlier this year than last. They also trained our office team to keep the Google profile updated themselves, which they absolutely did not have to do.
Our standards
A testimonial is only useful if you can trust it, so every quote on this page follows the same four rules.
We would rather show you a handful of real, attributable comments than a wall of anonymous praise. If you want more context on anything a client has said, ask us and we will tell you what we can.
A client’s name, role and company appear only after they have agreed to it in writing. No composite or invented clients, ever.
Quotes appear exactly as the client approved them. If one has to be trimmed for length, the client signs off on the shorter version first.
We never pay, discount or reward anyone for a testimonial or an online review.
When feedback was first posted on a public review platform, we link to the original so you can read it in context.
Working with us
These commitments apply to every engagement, from the first call onward.
The strategist who reviews your site at the start stays on your account while the work runs, so you never have to re-explain your business to someone new.
Priorities and timelines are agreed in writing, and work starts only after you sign off on the plan.
Plain-English reports connect rankings and traffic to inquiries and sales, and the raw data behind them is available whenever you ask.
Every tactic follows search engine guidelines. We will not use methods that could leave your site facing a penalty later.
Technical problems found in an audit go straight to our in-house developers, so you are not left briefing a separate web team.
If the likely return in your market looks too small for the budget, we tell you up front, even if it means losing the work.
Before you decide
The surest way to judge an agency is to question it yourself. Ask for any of these before you decide, and if something is not available, we will say so.
We go through the findings of your free audit with you and answer your questions before you commit to anything.
An anonymized example shows exactly what our regular reporting looks like and how progress is measured.
Where a client in a similar line of business has agreed to take calls, we can put you in touch so you can ask your questions without us on the line.
The strategist who would run your account takes part in the conversation, so you can size up the person who would do the work.
